Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.― Stephen Covey
What is important to you?
What do you value most in life?
Who do you want to be?
What do you want to leave as a legacy?
What is your future vision?
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Decide to set up your priorities correctly and arrive to your desired destination. Most of the activities you do, drain your time and energy and bring no meaning to your life. A self-evaluation ensures that first things go first in your ToDo list.
We all have a different set of values because we value different things and should be heading to different goals. Turn off the TV and stop asking your parents and friends what to do with your life, look inside your heart, you will find your way.
How does your perfect future look like? Visualize it with all the details. What would need to happen this year to be the best year of your life? What would need to happen this month? What about this week? What about today? What would you do if you didn't have to worry about money and you were rich? If you had only 6 months to live, what would you do? Facing death, gives us the best perspectives of the important things in life. Write your obituary at your own funeral: What would your family, mother, colleague, friend would say about you? What would you like that they say about you? Search for meaning, feel connected to yourself, and find your balance. Put all your heart into what matters to you the most.
1 Minute of planning saves 10 Min of execution. Brian Tracy
Integrity
Integrity requires to say no. Say NO to what does not align with your values. Saying YES is easy, everyone likes to say yes, everyone likes us better when we say YES, but you should put your values first. I've been saying NO to smoking and alcohol for years but still find some people that resist to the idea. I believe in having fun being sober and healthy and exercising that makes me feel good about myself, and the bigger resistance I find the more i grow inside. Always put your integrity first and people will respect you more. The best way to reject something is: "I am ok, thank you".
"Learn to say 'no' to the good so you can say 'yes' to the best." - John C. Maxwell
What is most important to you in life? You reap what you sow.
Keep your life in balance with meaningful relationships and work.
