Take care of each part of your brain:
Your personality attracts or repels people from you. Mind your brand in the world, because your success depends on how much people like you. Develop a pleasing personality as one of your biggest assets and your brand in the world. What traits do you need for a pleasing personality? The way you are perceived by others depends only on you. They all like you or dislike you for a reason.
A positive mental attitude makes you focus on the positive side of the people and circumstances around you. People around you easily pick up your attitude by your body language, tone, courtesy or consideration with other people, or lack of it.
Be flexible with other people and circumstances and adapt yourself to changes, always keeping your positive mental attitude.
Enthusiasm is a positive energy. Wake up full energy and start moving towards what is more important for you do during the day. Your positive lens shows you opportunities around you.
Positive people see a donut with a hole in the middle, while negative people only see the hole of the donut and miss the rest.
You easily recognize insincere people.
"Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth." - Buddha
Control your impulses. Willpower is the biggest indicator of success. How do you build will-power? you need to start doing the right things instead of doing what feels right. Avoid the path of least resistance, and go for the right path, the one that is aligned with your values.
Change any fault finding mode into a Good Finder mode. Your survival mechanisms encourage you to find threats around you, but you can only thrive when you find the opportunities. Find the good traits in others around you. Learn how to appreciate them correctly.
Don't tell your kid that he is smart, praise him when he works hard. There is a lot you can do to work hard, but not much you can do if think you are not smart. When he fails, you want him to feel that he didn't work enough, so next time he prepares better.
Replace "I don't know" with "I don't know YET". Any skill is learnable, talent comes after hard work and preparation, so it's better to think that practice makes perfect.
Always look for Win-win solutions. There is 3 kinds of people:
Most of the people are matchers, so you need to start giving first. Think about what's the best you can provide to the interaction. When you both win you will keep working together and building up a good relation.
At the same time watch out for some destructive habits.
If you are not like by other people you must detect and correct why.
