Habits shape your life, what you do from the time you wake up till you go to bed shapes your life and destiny. We live in auto pilot mode most of the time, so make sure your autopilot routines are good for you. How to substitute a bad habit with a good one? We all have habits. Visualize how a bad habit will shape your benefit, all the drawbacks that it comes with it. If you keep that habit, visualize how you will be in 5 years from now. Then visualize the effects of substituting the bad habit with a new habit. How would you be in 5 years from now.

Don't get distracted in your social media. Stop browsing. Silence your phone alerts, or turn it off.
Make fewer decisions, each decision you make drains your energy. Save your energy to accomplish meaningful things.
Set a time to check your social media and your email. Disable notifications in your phone. If you receive unimportant calls when you work, turn off your phone from time to time and work focused, always in the most important task, and only one task at a time.
Create a mission of what you want to do today. Be proactive towards the mission that you define. As you progress more, in a task you become more focused, so keep in that task until you complete it. Hopefully you started with the task that would make a difference for the day. Eat the ugliest frog first and the one that will have a bigger impact.
